The Artisan's Bench
Retail Associate + Web Design + Marketing

I played a pivotal role in overseeing and developing various aspects of the online marketplace, inventory, and showroom for a local art gallery. This involved not only creating and designing the platform itself, but also diligently managing and curating its social media presence. To effectively promote the gallery's offerings, I photographed the inventory to serve as impactful promotional material online. Furthermore, I connected Michigan-based artists with the local community, coordinating memorable collaborative events for the city. When it came to ensuring customer satisfaction, I personally took responsibility for installing art pieces in the homes of our valued patrons. Lastly, I had the privilege of collaborating with local artisans to curate captivating collections that were proudly showcased within the gallery's walls.

Interior Designer

I worked collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design team to deliver interior design solutions from concept through completion, with a focus on retail environments for global brands including Famous Footwear, Naturalizer, Five Below, and Swadesh. Together, we developed innovative, brand-driven retail concepts that balanced creativity, functionality, and customer experience. I contributed to the creation of detailed fixture packages that highlighted millwork craftsmanship, 3D renderings, as well as thoughtful furniture and material selections that supported each brand’s identity. Throughout the process, I partnered closely with teammates, clients, vendors, and fabricators, maintaining clear communication and coordination to ensure designs were both visually compelling and cost-effective, while meeting real-world operational requirements.

Event: Stage Design
UWM Live

In collaboration with United Wholesale Mortgage, We designed the stage for their annual 'UWM Live' event in 2024. Drawing inspiration from the event logo, we created a dynamic, dimensional stage backdrop that could be easily transformed and customized to suit the various performances throughout the event. Programmable LED lighting was integrated into the design, allowing for dramatic effects that enhanced the atmosphere and spotlighted key moments during the show.

In addition to the stage design, I was also responsible for curating furniture selections and designing the overall event layout. The combination of functional furniture, thoughtful spatial planning, and striking design elements helped create a seamless, immersive environment that aligned with the event’s energy and branding.
